Every professional gets paid for his or her work and try to get higher income through the more hard work. But when it comes to being a transcriptionist things are completely different. As the more a transcriptionist works with attention and hard work the more satisfied he gets, as each report is prepared for saving the lives of the people. This work is not only worth money but worth many other worthless things. A person who prepares reports and texts about his surgery, cure or illness every positive and negative result gives lots of encouragement and discouragement respectively.

A transcrirtionist earn hourly or according to every report produced. On an average the salary of a transcriptionist is $15-$22. Depending upon the type of transcription produced a professional is expected to earn according to the field he is working in.

Different fields as laboratory, surgery, physician, and business support also outpatient clinics have different pay strategies depending upon the type of work.

This job also has incentive system which just has the more work more pay system. It is a system in which the more a person works the more he gets paid and when he writes more than what is targeted then he is paid more. One may be paid on daily basis and the chances for losing or termination of job is very obvious if the performance is not good.

However there are no extra benefits or perks except the incentives. The job is not very certain and can be non profitable if one is looking for a long term career. Though there are many career options after the experience of this service but one cannot go for a lifetime job in this as the pay structures also do not increase with the time.

One may get a job of a trainer or manager if he continues the service for a prolonged time. A transcriptionist also has lots of burden and problems related to the words and terminologies, which may not be clear enough. There is a simple answer to this which may be for a good and skilled output. Just to pen down what we hear is supposed to be an easy task but even for this appropriate skills are needed. The skills are not just to write anything but to handle the task with tenderness and care. Though this is a profession but still contribute to very big process.
  • Any process of development is started from the roots and therefore in the treatment of a patient the transcript is the root which has to be properly taken care of for a fruitful result. A transcriptionist with right skill and education makes a lot of difference in writing work. Right education gives you perfection and right skills enhance the work.

Such assistance is done by a medical transcriptionist who makes it easy task to treat. He is the person who transforms the voice data into text format. During the session of doctor’s treatment the voice is recorded and is later decoded or written down by the medical transcriptionist.

A transcriptionist not only writes the report but also holds the destiny of a patient in his hands. May not be directly linked with the curing process but the procedure of the treatment starts from the desk of a transcriptionist. These professionals deal with very sensitive information of each patient. Any discrepancy in the report may create havoc in the life of someone who is already suffering. A medical transcriptionist though has a very short role to play but is important as it acts as a base of any treatment.
